History

Former COO of Tabs. I built its creator program to 100M monthly social impressions, and the paid ad engine alongside it. The numbers below come from videos that program produced.

I am the Former COO of Tabs. I built its creator program and the paid engine alongside it, and this is the same playbook: a small roster, one hook per test, winners promoted to paid. The category is new to me. I have not run beverages or electrolytes, so I lean on your claims sheet and your lead.

Why now

  • 4.5 / 5

A rating creators can point at

The page shows 4.5 / 5 across 25,500+ reviews. That is social proof a creator can say out loud without inventing anything.

    Published
  • 96,000,000

Servings sold is a ready-made hook

The page says over 96,000,000 servings sold with over 27,000 reviews. A first-week hook can open on that scale.

    Published
  • 14

Fourteen flavors means fourteen test cells

Premium Electrolyte Drink Mix comes in 14 flavors. Each one is a different video for the same product, which suits one variable per test.

    Published
  • $9.99

The 3 Pack Sampler is the cheap first try

At $9.99, the 3 Pack Sampler is the lowest-friction product for a creator to show and a viewer to buy.

    Published

Part 4 of 15

Principles

  1. One variable per test

Each brief changes one thing: the hook. Seven videos per creator per week gives 303 videos a month at 10 creators, enough to read results fast.

  2. Losers killed early

A hook that cannot reach the median gets dropped after its first week. Winners enter the hook library and, past 100,000 views, earn $50 flat.

  3. One number to protect

Cost per 1,000 views, target $1. The simulator starts at $5.74, so the gap is real, and the first months either close it or tell us to stop.

  4. Work in one shared channel

Briefs, claim questions and drafts live in a team workspace with your lead. No creator posts a claim about Energy+ or the electrolytes that is not on the sheet.

Part 4 of 15, continued

One channel for everything

#briefs

Briefs, drafts, reviews and the weekly numbers

Illustrative
  1. MayaMon 8:30 AM

Brief for the week: Crisp Apple stick pack, one hook, pour-and-drink shot. Put the line Pour into 16 oz to 24 oz of cold water on screen.

  2. TheoMon 10:15 AM

Can I say Energy+ keeps me focused through a long shift, or only the lines on the sheet?

Only the sheet. Quote the page line, asterisk included, and do not say it fixes anything. Sensitivity varies, and you can say that.

  3. TheoTue 4:40 PM

Draft one is up: 3 Pack Sampler unboxing, three flavors tasted in a row. The hook is the best-selling flavors line.

  4. MayaTue 5:05 PM

Sending it back for one change. Open on the hook, then the pour. Nothing else moves, so we can read the result.

  5. Report botAppMon 9:00 AM

Weekly report is posted: creators live, videos, views, and cost per 1,000 views against the $1 target. Two hooks marked for kill.

  6. Report botAppThu 7:20 PM

Theo's water bottle video passed 100,000 views, organic only. $50 flat queued for review, one bonus per creator per month.

  7. MayaFri 11:00 AM

Check before posting: any price on screen must match the site. The 3 Pack Sampler shows $9.99. If an offer changed, ask here first.

The messages illustrate the working channel, with invented people: briefs go out on Monday, claims questions get an answer the same day, and nothing posts without the check.

Part 5 of 15

Formats

  1. Sampler unboxing

    Brief 01

    Sampler unboxing

“Try our best-selling flavors made for rapid hydration”

Overhead on a table. Open the sampler, lay out the stick packs, pour one into a glass bottle and drink on camera.

  2. Bottle on the desk

    Brief 02

    Bottle on the desk

    “Stay hydrated in style”

Handheld desk shot. Show the glass bottle's markings while mixing a stick pack, then a quick sip. One continuous take.

  3. Pour and drink

    Brief 03

    Pour and drink

“Pour into 16 oz to 24 oz of cold water”

Tight shot of the stick pack tearing open and the pour into water. Natural light, no music over the voice.

  4. Energy+ afternoon

    Brief 04

    Energy+ afternoon

“Focused energy that keeps you going”

Film at the slump hour, mid-afternoon, at the desk. Mix Energy+, read the page line to camera, keep the asterisk on screen.

  5. Flavor pick

    Brief 05

    Flavor pick

    “Choose from 14 delicious flavors”

Line up the ICEE Blue Raspberry & Cherry mix beside two other flavors. Taste each, say what you honestly think, pick one.

Every product line in a video comes off the claims sheet word for word, for example “Premium electrolyte hydration. Zero sugar, clean ingredients, 14 flavors. Engineered for rapid absorption.”, “Try it risk-free for 50 Days. If you don’t love it, we’ll refund your purchase, no hassle.”, “Rip open a single-serve stick pack. Each one is perfectly portioned for 16 oz”. Product names are said as printed.

Part 6 of 15

Recruiting

Four sources in

  • Customers who already review

The page shows over 27,000 reviews. I would start with people who already write about the drink and ask your lead to flag any who create content.

  • Hydration and routine creators

Gym, desk and morning-routine creators, where a stick pack poured into a 16 oz bottle looks natural and needs no explanation.

  • Flavor and taste-test creators

Drink reviewers and flavor rankers. Fourteen flavors give them plenty to compare, and they are used to saying what they honestly think.

  • Affiliate or ambassador page

I did not find an affiliate or ambassador page on the site. Recruiting would be direct outreach, not an inbound form.

Five filters, fewer each step

  1. 1Real drinker

They already use electrolyte mixes or can show a real routine, not a script read cold.

  2. 2Clean claims history

Past posts show no health or medical promises about drinks or supplements.

  3. 3Camera ease

Clear voice and steady framing in an unedited first take, filmed on a phone.

  4. 4Audience fit

Viewers who match a persona, checked on recent videos rather than follower count.

  5. 5Reliable delivery

A first draft returned on the agreed day, and willing to take one change at a time.

Part 7 of 15

Who we want

  • Gym-bag regular

Carries a bottle everywhere and films workouts. Mixing a stick pack mid-session is part of the routine.

Likely product: Premium Electrolyte Drink Mix

  • Desk-coffee switcher

Talks about the afternoon slump and wants a different morning routine. Shows it, never promises results.

Likely product: Energy+ Electrolyte Drink Mix

  • Flavor taster

Ranks drinks on camera and says what they honestly think about taste and sweetness.

Likely product: ICEE Blue Raspberry & Cherry Electrolyte Drink Mix

  • First-time trier

Films the first sip of something new. The low-priced entry point suits their audience.

    Likely product: 3 Pack Sampler

  • Bottle-on-desk creator

Makes desk setups and daily-carry videos where the bottle is part of the scene.

    Likely product: Water Bottle

  • Stock-up shopper

Shows the pantry shelf and a month of drinks in one shot, with a bigger box in frame.

Likely product: Electrolyte Variety Pack - 12ct

Left off, every time

Always left out: minors, anyone who makes health or medical claims about themselves or the drink, creators with a history of promises the brand would not approve, and anyone unwilling to use the claims sheet. Category rule: no health outcomes, ever.

Claims sheet

Approved, word for word

Quoted exactly as the brand publishes it.

  • “Zero sugar, clean ingredients, 14 flavors.”

Any format, spoken or on screen.

  • “50-Day Money-Back Guarantee · No Risk”

Closing line of the sampler and flavor-pick videos.

  • “Over 96,000,000 Servings Sold with Over 27,000 Reviews!”

Opening hook, read as the page states it.

  • “4.5 / 5 25,500+ reviews”

On-screen text only, never rounded or reworded.

  • “Pour into 16 oz to 24 oz of cold water”

Pour and drink format, as the on-screen line.

  • “FREE Shipping On All US Orders”

Only in videos aimed at US viewers.

Never said

Each one with the reason it stays out.

  • Replaces your supplement routine

A savings and substitution claim the creator cannot back.

  • Treats or helps you recover from illness

Medical outcome. The brand's wording makes no such promise.

  • No crash or jitters for everyone

The brand itself says sensitivity varies.

  • Better than coffee, or than any other electrolyte drink

A comparison the creator cannot prove.

  • Recommended by doctors

Doctors appear as article authors only. That is not an endorsement.

  • Fixes sleep, anxiety or focus problems

Health outcome. Only the brand's own asterisked wording is allowed.

To confirm with the brand

Held until someone on the brand side signs off.

  • 50% OFF + Free Water Bottle with 2+ Box Purchase

The page shows several offers, including a four-box bundle. I need the live one before any video quotes it.

  • Over 2M+ Orders next to over 2.6 million people

The page counts customers and orders differently. Your lead picks the one creators say.

  • FREE Shipping On All US Orders

Another line on the site reads No Free Shipping. Confirm which applies.

Part 10 of 15

Pay

  • Starter

    $300–600

    a month, by band

Starter: new creators proving they can hold seven videos a week and take a brief.

    Bonus at the cap: $300

  • Standard

    $500–1,000

    a month, by band

Standard: steady creators with a clear audience and drafts that need few changes.

    Bonus at the cap: $500

  • Premium

    $800–1,500

    a month, by band

Premium: creators whose first weeks already beat the median, with the highest cap.

    Bonus at the cap: $700

  1. Under 100,000 views

    $0

The base pay covers the work.

  2. 100,000 views

    +$50 flat

    Whatever the band.

  3. 1,000,000 views

    Top-up to your cap

Bonus = band cap − base pay.

  • One bonus per creator per month, however many videos pass 100,000 views.
  • The bonus is $50 flat per qualifying video, and a video counts once.
  • Organic views only. Paid spend behind a video never counts toward 100,000.
  • No bonus on a video that broke the claims sheet or the category rule.

Starter: $600 cap − $300 fee = $300 bonus; Standard: $1,000 cap − $500 fee = $500 bonus; Premium: $1,500 cap − $800 fee = $700 bonus.

The bonus pays for reach after the work is done, never instead of it. One bonus per creator per calendar month keeps it an incentive and keeps the program cost predictable.

Simulator

On the starting inputs, 303 videos reach 1.8M views and cost $10,050: $5.74 per 1,000 views against $1.00. Either 4.2% of videos go viral or the median reaches 21,711 views.

Above the $1 target at these inputs.

To hit $1, the roster needs about 10.1M views a month. That means about 4.2% of videos going viral, or a median near 22K views per video. That is why the day-90 gate exists: keep the accounts that clear it, replace the rest.

Proposed, not measured. Views = videos × median, breakouts at 10× the median, viral at 750K. Bonus: +$50 for a viral video, one per creator per month.

The math. Videos a month = 10 creators × 7 a week × 52 ÷ 12 = 303. Views per video = (1 − 4% − 0.5%) × 1,500 + 4% × 10 × 1,500 + 0.5% × 750,000 = 5,782.5; 303 videos × 5,782.5 = 1.8M views a month. Cost = 10 × $1,000 = $10,000 base + 1 bonus × $50 = $10,050. Cost per 1,000 views = $10,050 ÷ 1.8M × 1,000 = $5.74 against a $1.00 target. To hit the target, either 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views, other inputs held.

Move the sliders and the label recalculates. The result is only as good as the guesses behind it, so the median views, the share of breakouts and the share of viral videos are marked as Assumptions until the first month of posts replaces them.

Claims sheet and first two creators

Your lead signs the sheet. Two creators go live in the first week with the Crisp Apple brief, and the roster starts from 0.

  2. Month 1

    Ramp to ten

Two creators join each week: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10. Seven videos each per week. Weak hooks are killed after one week.

  3. Month 2

    Promote the winners

All ten creators live. The hook library gets pruned, bands are reviewed, and the first strong organic videos go to your lead as paid candidates.

  4. Month 3

    Hold the number

Same roster, narrower hooks. The question is cost per 1,000 views against the $1 target, and which formats earn their place.

  5. Day 90

    Keep, change or stop

We read the results together. Keep what beat the median, drop what did not, and decide whether the roster grows or the program stops.

  6. Ceiling

    $15,000 at the top cap

With all ten creators at the top cap and bonuses excluded, the monthly ceiling is $15,000. Spend never goes past it without your yes.

$15,000 Monthly ceiling, all 10 creators at the top cap, bonuses excluded Proposed

The roster grows by two creators a week, so hook performance can be read week over week instead of by anecdote.

Organic to paid

From organic to paid

  1. Post it organic first

Every video goes out on the creator's own account first, so views and comments show what people respond to.

  2. Flag the winners

A video that passes 100,000 views, or beats the median by a clear margin, is flagged and its hook enters the library.

  3. Ask for ad rights

With the creator's yes, your lead gets the winning videos to run as paid. The claims sheet still applies word for word.

  4. Test one change

The paid version changes one variable only, usually the hook, so we learn why it worked before spending more.

Category rules

Rules for electrolyte and energy content

Instant Hydration sells electrolyte drink mixes and an energy mix with paraxanthine. These six rules keep creators inside the brand's own words.

  • Brand wording only

Describe the drinks with lines from the claims sheet. If it is not on the sheet, ask in the claims channel before posting.

  • Keep the asterisk

Energy+ benefit lines on the page carry an asterisk. If a creator says one, the asterisk shows on screen.

  • No health outcomes

No cures, no treatment, no recovery from illness. Hydration is a routine in the creator's video, never a medical result.

  • Sensitivity varies

The brand says to follow the serving directions and pay attention to how you feel. Creators repeat that when they talk about Energy+.

  • Offers match the site

Prices and offers on screen must match the live page. Anything that is not confirmed, such as the free bottle terms, stays out.

  • Disclose the partnership

Every video carries the platform's paid-partnership label and a plain spoken mention. Creators never present a script as a personal discovery.

The brand’s legal team sets the final rules. This is the operating floor I’d start from, not legal advice.
